Grey Tights - J.C.Penny
Black Flats - Payless

What can I say? Today's outfit is very Valentines day. :) Maybe it's because I have something in the works for Valentines week. I will disclose all the details sometime in the New Year. Maybe even on New Years. ;-)

What are your plans for tonight? Mine is eat P.F. Chang's (carry out) for dinner. Watch movies and/or TV Shows. Light sparklers. Watch the ball drop in Times Square on the TV. And not sure what else. I'll just be hanging with my family. :)

Simplicity 5349 - (1964)

Pattern: Simplicity 5349 c. 1964

Pattern Description: Juniors' and Misses' One-Piece Dress: Bodice is fitted with waistline darts, back shoulder and front underarm darts. Full skirt is joined to bodice in a lowered waistline seam with a front opening skirt; front closing in bodice.

Pattern Sizing: My pattern is a size Miss Size 14.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very simple.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love this pattern! Very Laura Petrie (Mary Tyler Moore) from The Dick Van Dyke Show.

Fabric Used: Cotton print from Hancock Fabrics.

Pattern Alterations or any design changes you made: Nope. But next time I would lengthen the skirt a bit as it came out a little shorter then I wanted. You see I grew during the process of sewing the dress. :P

Would you sew it again? Yes!

Would you recommend it to others? Yes!

Close-up of the front

I made this dress for Valentines day. :)
